Universal Lubricants, LLC collects used oil and re-refines it into high-quality base oil. This purified Group II base oil is blended with new, superior additives to produce high-quality products for your passenger car/light truck; products that can be found at car dealerships, oil-change service shops, auto parts stores, and better retail locations across the U.S.

Collection

Used oils never wear out – only the additives wear out. The base oil properties remain intact. So, we reclaim used motor oil from our customers. This is the oil that is drained during an oil change from automobiles, industrial vehicles, heavy-duty engines, and railroad engines.

Re-Refining

Universal’s re-refinery is one of only four such facilities in the United States. Here, we take the used oil and remove impurities through a series of processes. This process produces high-quality Group II base lube stock.

Blending

The re-refined base oil is blended with superior additives to produce the Eco Ultra® line of premium lubricants. Eco Ultra oils meet the latest API SN and ILSAC GF-5 specifications.

Servicing

Our re-refinery allows us to close the loop on your used oil and new oil purchases and offer you a sustainable product line of hydraulic oils, ATFs, and engine oils. Our customers have the unique opportunity to use high-quality finished products that are derived from re-refined base stocks, which will lower dependency on foreign oil, reduce depletion of natural resources, and eliminate waste material.
